Guglhupf (or Gugelhupf) - a characteristic cake from my home-country

Each country has typical
dishes, sweets, cakes..
Guglhupf is something wellknown in Germany, Austria, Hungary... In former days it was the mandatory cake for a sunday with the family. The cake has a typical form. But of course the following recipe can also be done with any normal bakingpan .. But for a real Guglhupf you need a special Gugelhupf / Guglhupf-Tin. There exist also a wide range of different Guglhupf Recipes. I like this one very much because it is easy to do :) and because it becomes very fluffy.
Take 4 Eggs (separate them in yolk and white), 250 g Sugar,
125 g ground walnuts, 125 g wheat flour,
1 packet vanillasugar, 1/2 packet (or 1 teaspoon) baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
125 ml water, 125 ml sun flower oil.

1. Preheat your oven to 180 C
2. Mix well together egg yolks and sugar
3. Add one by one all the other ingredients except the egg whites
4. Whip the eggs until stiff and incorporate them to your basic dough
5. Butter your Guglhupfpan and duste with some flour. Fill your dough into the pan and put in in the preheated oven for about 35 min.

Take your Guglhupf out of the pan after after some minutes and dust him with some icing sugar and then Mmmmmhhhh, Yummmmmm.....................
